Current MA Programmes
Taught MAs are generally of one year duration and include a research thesis which is submitted during the summer.
There are currently three taught MA programmes of one year duration in our department.
- MA in Sociology: Societies in Transition
- MA in Society and Space (Joint MA between the Departments of Sociology, Geography and NIRSA)
- MA in Community Education, Equality and Social Activism. ( Joint MA between the Departments of Sociology and Dept of Adult & Community Education)
The deadlines for applications are generally at the end of May each year.
Please check with graduate studies for actual deadlines.
