Dr. Niamh Gaynor is now at DCU School of Law and Government. Check out Niamh's book, based on her dissertation, Transforming Participation?: The Politics of Development in Malawi and Ireland.


Dr. Michael Murray is now at the Department of Adult and Community Education at NUI Maynooth. Dr. Michael Murray won the prestigious Eda Sagarra Prize for his PhD dissertation on transnational governance and environmental politics (completed in this department in 2004).  Read Michael's article, based on his dissertation,  on ‘Multi-level ‘Partnership’ and Irish Waste Management : The Politics of Municipal Incineration’  Economic and Social Review Vol. 37, No. 3.


Dr. Anne O'Brien is a sociologist and broadcaster and an academic co-ordinator for Kairos Communications. Check out her discussion of the potential to develop the tourist industry - based on Anne's dissertation on the politics of the tourist industry in Ireland.
