RATIONALE
This encyclopaedia has been commissioned by Praeger to carry out an overall review of all aspects of globalisation in terms of their implications for security. The intersection of globalisation and security studies in thus the terrain we shall be exploring. Security is taken to mean human security in its broadest sense. The text is aimed at the undergraduate market and will also sell to community colleges and public libraries. The entries will be substantial 7,500 word pieces surveying the field in an accessible but comprehensive manner. First drafts due: April 30th, 2007. Final drafts due: July 30th, 2007.
